The UNIBOOST™ Series comprises advanced UV-LED photoaccelerators engineered to significantly enhance curing efficiency in modern UV-LED formulations. These materials are specifically designed to work synergistically with conventional photoinitiators, enabling faster and more complete polymerization under low-energy UV-LED irradiation.
Unlike traditional photoinitiators, UNIBOOST™ photoaccelerators function by amplifying radical generation efficiency, allowing up to 70% reduction in overall photoinitiator loading while maintaining or improving cure performance. This results in enhanced surface cure, deeper through-cure, and reduced sensitivity to oxygen inhibition, key advantages in UV-LED systems operating at narrow emission wavelengths (typically 365–405 nm).
By lowering the required photoinitiator concentration, UNIBOOST™ technology significantly minimizes yellowing and color shift, delivering superior optical clarity and cleaner cured films. The result is improved surface quality, higher line speeds, and greater formulation flexibility without compromising performance.
