Best Primers For Excellent Protection And Adhesion

Meeting safety and industry standards

UCI Primer Systems

The UCI PR Series has been engineered for durable adhesion enhancement across adhesives, coatings and inks. It provides consistent surface activation, molecular-level coupling and cross-process compatibility for UV, thermal and solvent systems. All PR Series primers are validated under UCI’s ISO 9001/14001 framework to ensure global performance consistency and reliability across adhesive, coating and ink applications.
All PR series primers are versatile across curing modes: Flash-Off, UV/LED, and Thermal and provide typical film thicknesses of 2–10 µm and increasing surface energy by +25-50 dyn/cm. They maintain stability across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +200°C and feature clear, non-yellowing films that are compatible with adhesives, coatings and inks, while remaining VOC-free and fully REACH and RoHS compliant.

PR-F SERIES - Flash-Off Adhesion Primers

Our PR-F Series primers dry fast (30–120 seconds), with solvent evaporation in under 2 minutes and a 2–10 µm clear, non-yellowing film. They offer excellent wetting for adhesives, coatings and inks, work with UV/LED/thermal systems and are QC-tested with a Ford Cup B-4 viscometer.
